So I finally decided to give polaroid emulsion lift a try. I liked the results, but it does take a bit of patience. I only did about 4 so far. I can't wait to try and do more. Maybe on some bigger paper.


On a side note, I had a hard time coming up with a title, and it was between the quote or "Yo Snow" Maybe I should've gone with that.

Alright so after a pretty tiring but fun week in Florida I was glad that I didn't bring my film camera because most of the shots I took were pretty ordinary touristy shots. Here's one shot I took at Epcot and I couldn't decide between this and the black and white version so I decided to upload both.

Here's another film shot I took in Chicago. I was walking around on the streets of Chicago taking a few shots. I wish it wasn't so windy though. Why did Chicago have to be called the windy city? why not the unusually warm weather city?

Yet another shot from Chicago. This was shot around the "bean" or Cloud Gate sculpture. After I shot the obligatory self portrait in it I decided to shoot some people using the bean. I think I got some cool shots, but I'm sure there were other photographers that's done the same thing.

Another shot I took in Chicago. I didn't bring a tripod, so I was pretty limited in what I could do in terms of long exposure and composing more interesting shots. I just used some of the stone railings at the Millenium Park as my tripod.
I loved how this turned out, and I love the colours too.

So I haven't uploaded in a really long time. I've been super busy with essay's and projects for school. Anyway this was shot on the trip to Chicago and I took this while walking to the Art Institute of Chicago. I loved how this shot came out. I didn't know how this would turn out since I shot this from the hip.

I also got to meet Cari Ann Wayman and she was amazing and lovely. That was probably the best part of the trip.

It's been a while since I've uploaded. I finally managed to get some of the film I shot in my F100 developed. I LOVE that camera more and more. I hardly ever use my D90 now, except as a scanner lol. Anyway ignore those green and purple area in this. It's probably when I was "scanning" it with my D90. Anyway I shot this while I was driving by and just had to stop. This was a school that was demolished.

Yay, only one more picture and I'll be done. I better make it a good one.

I have graphic design projects, an art history essay, and some paintings and drawings. I can't wait until this semester is over. At least until these projects are done with.

It's official, the countdown to the end of my 365 is almost over. I can't believe that I've doen this project for pretty much the whole year. I know I'm late and I've fallen behind but I'm glad that I stuck with it and didn't quit.

Anyway this is just a tie I have rolled up.

Got this first thing in the morning today and it's my new F100. I love it already and I haven't even gone out on a shoot with it yet. I can't wait to go out on some photo adventures with it. It definitely wasn't too hard learning the controls of the camera since most the of controls are similar to my D90. Plus I can use the lenses I have now on it.

This is from my trip to California to visit family and relax. I just wish that we spent more than a week there so that we didn't to have to rush all over the place and spend more time and be more relaxed.

I took some film with me too and when I went to go and get them developed at a one hour place, like walmart, but they said it would take a week, so I had no choice but to leave it there with my aunt and then she'll send it to me once it's developed. That's another thing I hated about this vacation, I told my mom about it and that I should get it developed before we left so there'd be more time to go somewhere where it was possible to get it done in an hour.
