Guess who got a macro lens(for a week anyway). I decided to do some test shots. I can't wait to do some natural light shooting with it. I'm gonna use it for some assignments and shoot with it as much as possible. Today was a pretty chill day and lots of running around picking up prints and such.

I was just experimenting with the idea of playing with cotton. I'm definitely going to do more with this. I might do a little series with this. This is one of the shots that I liked enough to upload. I don't know about the edit though. I wish there was more detail in the "cloud", I'll have to work on that.

I know I said I'd have better photos, but I got too caught up playing with this new toy. I got a blackberry playbook as an early Christmas present and I love it. I'm gonna get a case for it tomorrow and a screen protector. Danbo was just playing with it a little bit, he was pretty impressed by it too, and it takes a lot to impress Danbo.

I went on a short adventure to do some more street photography and I ened up at this path that I've photographed before with film and minus the snow. I couldn't resist taking a shot with my D90 and capturing it in digital. I love how this path winds down to another path and all the curves.

I decided to go out this afternoon to take advantage of the sun and go downtown to do some street photography. I thought it wasn't going to be that cold, but I was wrong, I only lasted about 30mins outside, even though I was pretty bundled up. Anyway this is one of the shots that I managed to take.

Today was a pretty chill day, it was sunny out but pretty cold, plus it was Saturday so it took forever to get anywhere. I was going to go downtown to take some shots for my assignments, but the weather decided to not cooperate and it got even colder. So maybe tomorrow I'll go out and do some street photography.

Life is precious and unique like a snowflake.

It started snowing today, it wasn't a lot of snow, but it was enough to go out and shovel the driveway. So the shoveling begins, at least the shoveling is good exercise. This is just a shot out my window of our deck. I'm hoping the sun comes out soon since I still have to do my photography assignment in the style of Henri Cartier-Bresson and I have a lot of shooting to do.

Took this on a little adventure today. I saw these chains holding something up and decided to take a picture. This is what I got. I was going to explore a little more downtown, but it was too cold and a little windy and cold. I'm having some trouble with my latest photography assignment. I't's an assignment that is based on Henri Cartier-Bresson and his principle of capturing the decisive moment.

It was a rainy and dreary, cold day. Danbo was looking out the window pretty much all day. I think the rain hypnotized him. Sometimes Danbo just acts weird, but that's Danbo for you. On another note, my Canon AE-1 needs to be repaired. I never even got to run a full roll of film through it. I hope it's a quick fix and doesn't cost too much to fix.

This is what I was looking at today. I was making colour prints today for my assignment. I have to have 6 good colour prints and I think I have what I need. Anyway this is the machine I use to make my prints. It's a Beseler colur enlarger.

Today was filled with making colour prints and they took a while, the waiting, THE WAITING!!!!!. It takes longer to get developed and it's a lot harder to get the right colour balance. Anyway I got this book, which I'm sure everyone knows about. I haven't gotten really into it yet, but hopefully after I finish with this colour printing assignment I'll have more time.

I was super tired yesterday so I couldn't upload. So I decided to shoot some film and didn't finish it until today so another reason I couldn't upload.
