I feel like I've been slacking lately with this project. Anyway, I learned how to make prints from my negatives. I loved how some of them turned out. I only got a couple of prints that I really liked. I'm gonna have to practice making more prints so I can get them how I like.

I was so tired today for some reason. It was a pretty easy day, but when I got home I was pretty tired, I was falling asleep and such, so here's another splash photo. I gotta stop cheating on this project, I need more energy and such.
Anyway tomorrow, I'll be learning how to make black and white prints, definitely can't wait for that.

Today was a pretty chill day. I only had to go to one photography class. After the class I went to a certain drawing room to take some shots for my film class and decided to take some shots of Danbo. Looks like Danbo was trying to hitchhike on a desk, lol.

It was another long day filled with painting. I enjoyed it but it left me pretty tired and too lazy to come up with a good shot. I just liked how the light was coming through the leaves as I was walking down this path.

So this is my first roll of black and white film that Is developed by myself. It was pretty amazing, and easier for the most part. There was a bit of a hiccup, getting the film off the canister and onto the reel, but other than that it went pretty smoothly. The next thing I'll learn is how to make prints from the negatives, can't wait for that.

I took this during my digital photography class. We had a bit of time to just hang out and have some time for studio work. This is in one of the drawing rooms in the building. The light that was coming through the windows were perfect. I just had to take some shots of these drawing horses that were stacked in the back.

I had a pretty short day in terms of classes as I only had one, but it was still 3 hours long. I went home and bought myself a subway sandwich and enjoyed it. I decided to take a quick shot before it was all gone. I was pretty tired after the long drive and the carrying of all my painting supplies to and from my car.

I'm pretty wiped today. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I have my two photography classes in a row, and they are both 3 hours each. They are a bit tiring, but I still enjoy them. Anyway, Danbo wanted to try on my new glasses so I let him try it on. But as you can see, they are a tad big on him.

My Memory Suite Review

For the last week or so I've been using the My Memory Suite to try it out and see how easy it is to use.

When I first opened the application, I was a bit overwhelmed with all the different buttons and options I could choose from. It was a bit like opening photoshop up for the first time. The layout was easy to get used to, because of the similar layout to photoshop. I would've liked it if some of the options or sidebars were moveable  or at least adjustable.

There are plenty of options and custom to choose from for customizing your album or scrapbook. You can adjust the size of the pictures and some basic edits like cropping and red eye reduction. I wish there was more options to edit photos. This is after a program to make albums and scrapbooks so I think there should be more options to edit the main focal point of the album/scrapbook.

That aside, the program starts up pretty fast and doesn't lag at all when I was using it. The changes happen almost instantly and there are helpful warnings to helo yo make you you don't cut any pictures off when you're laying out the pictures. If you do go over there are guidelines that you can see  on the picture.

Below is a screenshot of an example of the album I was working on. I'll post a finished one on here if I can.

Overall this program is easy to use. There are plenty of options to make the album more to your taste, but there are few options to edit the photos themselves. You can also add video to and music to make your album truly unique. Other than the fact that there are few options to edit the pictures themselves this is a great program for the avid scrapbooker.

This is an assignment for one of the two photography classes. It was just to take some basic photos like a landscape, a portrait, an action or activity, a close-up and an interior. Then write a paragraph about photography in general. I feel pretty tired today, lots of running around and buying art supplies for my classes.

I was working out and saw that the light coming through my blinds and liked how the light was hitting my arm so I stopped mid work out and took pictures of my arm. I'm thinking of getting a new camera bag, since I need to carry lots of equipment for my photography classes, that are back to back. Luckily the profs give us breaks.

I got Mady's letter today and found this little surprise inside it. I was pretty excited to get it. Today was also the first day back to university and I was pretty excited about it. I think that both my photography classes will take up most of my time so far. I still haven't had my painting class yet so I don't know what the workload is going to be.

I know this isn't amazing but I was too tired to come up with anything.

Only 300 more days!! I just got this Canon AE-1 to add to my collection of ever growing collection. It came with a 28mm lens(that's on it now), a 35-105mm, and a flash. All for $45 dollars. I already had film loaded into it. Some expired Kodak black and white film you can process like colour film. Danbo decided to greet my new friend.

It was a sweltering day today, glad it's over. Unfortunately it's supposed to be even hotter tomorrow, fantastic. I go back to class tomorrow, excited about that.

I went out today and just had some time to relax and have some peace and quiet. I saw this by a fence had to take a shot of it. This is SOOC!! and I'm really happy how this turned out.
